This Privacy Policy describes how SendScore ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the SendScore platform, including our website at www.sendscore.io, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Service.
By creating an Account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings assigned to them in our Terms of Service. In addition:
"Personal Information" means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.
"Customer Data" means all data imported into the Service from your connected third-party accounts (including Klaviyo and Shopify), as well as any data you manually provide.
"Usage Data" means information collected automatically about how you access and interact with the Service, including device information, browser type, IP address, pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an Account or use the Service, we collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account Information. Your name, email address, company name, and password when you register for an Account.
- Billing Information. Payment method details (such as credit card number and billing address) when you subscribe to a paid plan. Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Connected Account Credentials. OAuth tokens or API keys you provide to connect your Klaviyo and Shopify accounts to the Service.
- Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support, submit feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.
2.2 Customer Data from Connected Platforms
When you connect your Klaviyo and Shopify accounts, we access and retrieve data from those platforms as necessary to provide the Service. This may include:
- From Klaviyo: Email campaign performance data, flow metrics, list and segment information, engagement rates, deliverability metrics, subscriber counts, and related email and SMS marketing data.
- From Shopify: Store revenue data, order information, product data, and customer count data used to correlate marketing performance with sales outcomes.
We access this data in accordance with the permissions you grant during the OAuth or API key connection process. For Autopilot Tier users who approve specific Execution Actions, we may also modify data in your connected Klaviyo account as described in our Terms of Service.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device and Browser Information. Device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen resolution, and language preferences.
- Log Data. IP address, access times, pages viewed, referring URLs, and actions taken within the Service.
- Analytics Data. Feature usage patterns, session duration, click paths, and interaction data collected through analytics tools to help us understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. See Section 7 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) for more detail.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service. To operate the Service, generate your Send Score, detect signals, calculate recovery estimates, produce recommendations, queue Execution Actions, and deliver weekly digest emails.
- Account Management. To create and manage your Account, authenticate your identity, and process your subscription and payments.
- Service Improvement. To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality, reliability, and performance of the Service.
- Benchmarks and Analytics. To create anonymized and aggregated benchmarks derived from Customer Data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your customers, as described in Section 6.2 of our Terms of Service.
- Communications. To send you transactional emails (such as account confirmations, billing receipts, and weekly digest reports), respond to your support requests, and, where permitted, send you product updates or announcements. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time.
- Security and Fraud Prevention. To detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity.
- Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your Personal Information or Customer Data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers (Subprocessors)
We use third-party service providers to help operate the Service. These providers have access to information only as necessary to perform their functions and are contractually required to maintain appropriate data protection standards. Our current categories of subprocessors include:
- Cloud Hosting and Infrastructure. To store and process data securely.
- Payment Processing. To process subscription payments and manage billing.
- Analytics. To collect and analyze Service usage data.
- Email Delivery. To send transactional and digest emails on our behalf.

4.2 Connected Third-Party Platforms
When you connect your Klaviyo or Shopify accounts, data flows between the Service and those platforms as necessary to provide the Service. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any choices you may have regarding your information.
4.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your Account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention practices include:
- Customer Data. Upon Account termination, we retain your Customer Data for 30 days to allow for reactivation or data export. After this period, Customer Data is permanently deleted.
- Anonymized and Aggregated Data. We may retain anonymized and aggregated data derived from Customer Data indefinitely, provided that such data cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your customers. This data is used for benchmarks, algorithm improvement, and Service enhancement.
- Legal and Compliance Records. We may retain certain data beyond the standard retention period as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention and audit compliance.
- Usage Data and Logs. We retain Usage Data for up to 24 months for analytics, security, and Service improvement purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, regular security assessments, and secure infrastructure practices.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
7.1 What We Use
We use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Essential Cookies. Required for the Service to function, such as session cookies that keep you logged in. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics Cookies. Used to collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. We use this data to understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
- Preference Cookies. Used to remember your settings and preferences across sessions.
7.2 Third-Party Analytics
We use third-party analytics services to help us understand how the Service is used. These services may collect information about your use of the Service using cookies and similar technologies. The information collected is generally aggregated and used for statistical analysis.
7.3 Your Choices
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through browser settings. You may disable or delete cookies, but doing so may affect the functionality of the Service. Essential cookies are required for the Service to operate and cannot be opted out of while using the Service.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information. These may include the right to:
- Access. Request a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you.
- Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information.
- Deletion. Request that we delete your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions (such as data we are required to retain by law).
- Data Portability. Request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Opt Out of Communications. Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or adjusting your Account settings.
- Withdraw Consent. Where we rely on your consent to process Personal Information, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

9. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:
- The right to know what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
- The right to request deletion of your Personal Information.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information. We do not sell or share Personal Information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

10. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Klaviyo, Shopify, and other platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Service.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your Account or through a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use and cancel your Account.
The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
